What is Faith Life 365 all about you ask?
The purpose of Faith Life 365 is to explore and discuss the many facets of Faith in Christian Life. What is Faith? How do you get Faith? How does Faith work? How do you use Faith? Can you grow Faith? What areas does Faith cover? Examples of Faith? Misconceptions about Faith. What exactly does God’s word say about Faith? To name a few.
The objective of Faith Life 365, is to conduct a study into God’s Word focusing on Faith. To explore what God is saying to us about Faith in his Holy Word, the Bible, and how to apply it in our daily lives so that we may live in Faith 365 days per year.
How Faith Life 365 started:
My name is Tim Hardison. In late 2019, God started dealing with me in my spirit, to renew my heart, mind, and soul, in his Word and to focus on Faith. I began to read, study, and listen to everything I could about Faith. I didn’t know why God was dealing with me so strongly about Faith. I was struggling with issues in my own life, I had a lot of built up anger and frustration. I was not pleasant to be around a lot of the time. I committed to God to renew my mind in his Word and to live in Faith. Almost immediately, my life changed. The anger and frustration I had built up, especially towards certain individuals and entities, went away. I'm not saying that I do not still have problems in life to deal with, and that I never get angry or frustrated, because I do. Anger and frustration is a part of being human. In fact, I have to still work hard at how I react to anger and frustration. But God, through Jesus, His Word and the Holy Spirit, is always there to see me through.
In early January of 2020, while I was studying about Faith and praying, God spoke to me in my Spirit to start a Podcast focused on Faith. The name Faith Life 365 came up in my Spirit. Living in Faith 365 days per year. I didn’t know anything about Podcasts, other than listening to different ones on occasion. I prayed to God, I said I didn’t feel qualified to host a Podcast, and certainly not one on Faith. To which God replied in my Spirit, "have Faith in me." Well, here we are. I started the FaithLife365 Podcast and FaithLife365 Blog for those who prefer to read. I am following God's leading in my Spirit to grow this ministry in whatever direction He leads.
My profession over the past 33 years has been an Air Traffic Controller. No, not the guy on the ramp guiding the planes into parking (this is what my grandmother thought I did for years). I am the guy sitting behind a radar scope guiding the planes to and from different airports around the U.S. and the World, from a major Air Traffic Control Center on the East Coast of the United States. I spent just under 4 years in the United States Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller and received an early Honorable Discharge, in order to accept a job with the Federal Aviation Administration in 1987.
So what qualifies me to start a Podcast and Blog about Faith? God. Just as He has called an untold number of Believers over the course of history, I am simply answering his call. Do I know it all? Hardly. As a matter of fact, I highly advise you to not take every word you hear or read in my Podcast, Blog, or anywhere else for that matter, as absolute 100% infallible truth or fact! I can assure you, I will make every attempt to hear God, to study, and to provide 100% truth and fact at all times. However, you should always be praying to God yourself and studying his Word personally to verify in your Spirit, everything you hear and read, regardless of the source! God, through the Holy Spirit, will verify in your Spirit his Truth! 1 John 4:1 New Living Translation: "Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world."
I have been called in my Spirit to explore and discuss what God's Word says about Faith, and how we are to apply it in our daily lives 365 days per year. I am not perfect and I am not all knowing. I am an imperfect man, living an imperfect life, trying to obey God and help others as I too learn and grow in the Spirit, striving to one day enter Heaven and hear God Almighty say, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."
Living in Faith and living as God has called us to, is a daily work! It is not easy, at times it is extremely difficult. As humans, we will surely face failures as we strive to live as God has called us to live. We will certainly have moments where we temporarily succumb to the flesh through anger, doubt, fear and many other means. But we can take comfort in 1 John 2:1-2 "My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous. He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world."
